How we work
Blushmallow Journal exists for people who feel like they have lost a step: strength, energy, focus, the version of themselves they used to be. We write about what that is like, and what the research actually says about it.
Who writes here
Blush Staff writes the research pieces. We are not doctors. We read primary studies and government health sources, explain them in plain English, and link every one so you can check us.
Real stories come from readers who chose to share them. We change names and remove identifying details, we send the person the draft before it goes live, and we never invent, combine or embellish a story.
Anonymous reader pieces are real stories from people who asked us not to use any name.
Our rules
- Every factual claim links to its source: a peer-reviewed study or a government health agency.
- Every study summary says who was studied, for how long, and what it does not show.
- Every research piece carries an evidence rating: Strong, Moderate or Emerging.
- We never use words like cure, miracle or guaranteed.
- We correct mistakes openly. Email us and we will fix it and note the change.
Our business
Blushmallow is developing a supplement. The Journal does not sell it. If we ever mention our own product, it will be clearly labeled, and only subscribers who ticked the product news box will get product emails.
A Journal for a whole life
The Journal now covers Health & Midlife, Parenting & Family, Love & Friendship, Work & Money, and Everyday Life & AI. Practical columns are editorial suggestions, not reported personal experiences. AI tools assist research organization and drafting; published pieces are edited and checked. Illustrative scenarios are identified. We link original sources and do not republish other writers' articles or invent reader testimonials. Medical topics retain their separate sourcing and review needs. Publication dates reflect when our pieces actually go live.
